Why should I donate to a rescue group? Rescue groups . . .

• Ease the burden on overwhelmed city and county pounds, saving taxpayer money.
• Ensure that animals are spayed and neutered before being adopted out into the community, to end the cycle of pet overpopulation.
• Decrease the numbers of roaming dogs and cats that get into trash containers, defecate in public areas and yards, and frighten small children.
• Help stop transmission of disease from stray animals to owned pets and people.

Why should I donate to Kayleigh's Haven?

• We found homes for almost 200 dogs and cats last year.
• We only euthanize for medical or behavioral problems, NOT just to make space for new animals.
• Private donations and adoption fees are our only means of support.
• We educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.
• Because our director is a veterinarian, all our animals receive complete medical care.
